Secondary education is the continuation of what has been learned in primary school, but in this new stage in the lives of our young people, we must delve into everything they have already learned, as well as setting new goals according to age and level of maturity of students. At this stage, we foster the following:
ACCEPT
peers regardless of race, religion or sex.
ASSUME
The risks and the consequences of one's actions.
INCREASE
The participation of the students in the activities organized by the school.
HELP
oneself without waiting for anyone to say what or how it should be done.
to express what they think, reasonably, but also know when to be silent
to express one's own feelings.
EDUCATE
about healthy relationships with others and discover the importance of coexistence.
ELIMINATE
prejudices, stereotypes and roles
TEACH
to take risks and to be aware of potential consequences.
to be courageous because it is a catalyst for changing society.
to set their own goals and prepare to achieve them, assuming that life is a test to be prepared for and to overcome.
FOSTER
the Dominican spirit through classes and our own example with confirmation groups starting from 3rd ESO where they can discover Christ as the only authentic model to follow.
respect for others
dialogue as a tool to overcome inequalities
cooperative and participatory learning
BOOST
self-esteem, without falling into arrogance, because it is the key to success in the future
enthusiasm as a tool to progress, but with realistic aspirations.
PREVENT
any kind of violence, especially against women and the vulnerable
DEEPEN
basic competencies such as reading, writing, spelling, expression, and presentation of works.
REDUCE
passivity among students
From the academic point of view the goal is for the students to obtain the title of School Graduate because that will open the door to higher education, be it College or Professional Training.
In addition it is our intention that, by the end of this period, students who are prepared and who are at the minimum age necessary, will obtain the title of "MITJÀ" in Valencian and C1 in English.
