NURSING SERVICE
The school offers a nursing service whose main objective is to provide students with health care.
We have an infirmary equipped to meet the basic health needs that arise at the school.
Our nurse, Carmen Gimeno Aznar – enfermeria.svf@fesd.es, takes care of our students by providing health care during school hours.
The nurse is available to attend to any incident involving students. The functions of the Nursing Service are:
Provide immediate assistance in the case of accident, illness, etc.
Administer medication if needed (paracetamol, ibuprofen, etc.)
Monitor students with pre-existing conditions (pathologies and allergies)
Prevent and detect health problems
Any student who has an illness, allergy or medical alert that tutors should know must report it using the following medical sheet.
SCHOOL INSURANCE
The school offers optional School Accident Insurance to it’s students.
The insurance company is PLUS ULTRA in the Sorolla Clinic.
The features of this insurance are:
Insurance coverage:
Accidents occurring during class and during other recreational, cultural, sporting or social events organised by the school both on or off school grounds.
Procedures in the event of an accident:
The school will inform the family of the accident by telephone and a report will be made. The pupil will be taken to Sorolla Clinic.
CARDIAC-PROTECTED AREA
CERTIFIED SCHOOL
Our school is certified by the Cardiac-Protected School of the SEMST (Spanish Society of Medicine and Safety at Work).
AED
Therefore, our facility has an automated external defibrillator (AED) which is an essential part of our first aid offerings.
