Our school offers all students the opportunity to participate in choir, where one day a week the students practice and prepare for different events. The most important events are the Christmas concert held in the Cathedral, the summer solidarity concert, communions at school, studio recordings, and filming of video clips.
The choral conductor is Santi García, the primary school music teacher, who never ceases to surprise us with his ambitious projects. During the Christmas Concert of 2018 the choir was selected as a finalist in the “Christmas Carol” competition organised by Cadena 100. Some examples of their works, including “Apuesta por la Paz”, can be found on the YouTube channel “Coro Dominicos”.
The schoor choir has been so successful they have been hired to sing at communions outside the school. The choir, of course, have always accepted whenever possible.
